Do I need to have Automated Email Marketing (AEM) to use Lead Hunter?

Yes, Automated Email Marketing is a requirement for Lead Hunter. The AEM software is what allows Lead Hunter to recognize contacts from your dealership's database when they visit your site or interact with an email. This integration is essential for identifying visitors even if they don't fill out a form.

How does Lead Hunter identify a website visitor if they don't fill out a form?

Lead Hunter identifies visitors by tying their activity back to shoppers in your dealership's email list. Lead Hunter can also directly match to the CRM or dealer database if those shoppers are included in the email list. When a known contact in your database visits your website or interacts with one of your AEM emails, the system recognizes them and begins tracking their engagement.

What's the difference between what AEM does on its own and what Lead Hunter adds?

AEM is designed to automatically send emails like featured inventory or retargeting campaigns to stay in front of shoppers who have already interacted with inventory on your VDP page. Lead Hunter strengthens this by showing you who is interacting with the dealership's site recently. While AEM automates the outreach, Lead Hunter provides the real-time dashboard insights to see which leads are serious.

How does the Payment Genie (PG) integration work if a shopper doesn't submit their information?

Even if a shopper explores payment options in Payment Genie but doesn't complete the form, Lead Hunter still captures those interactions.
